Residential Living Specialist

We are seeking a Residential Living Specialist to join our Residential Living Program. This position is responsible for teaching and providing support to the homes including youth and all Life Skills Teachers. Support will be provided in a respectful and efficient manner in keeping with OHB’s Mission Statement. This position provides support, teaching, mentoring and training which will include evenings and possible weekends along with potential home coverage.

Stabilization Worker

$1.50 shift differentials for weekends offered in this rewarding career opportunity!

The Stabilization Worker is primarily responsible for the care and supervision of youth participating in the Crisis Stabilization Program at OHB. Stabilization Workers are responsible for implementing assigned treatment services, maintaining accurate documentation of services and ensuring that the daily routine of the program is upheld. Stabilization Workers will be expected to transport clients and develop collaborative partnerships with the referring agencies.

Life Skills Teacher – Overnight Position

Omaha Home for Boys is currently seeking a Life Skills Teachers to join our expanding programs. Life Skills Teachers are at the heart of our Residential Living Program and work directly with the teenage boys in OHB’s care. Life Skills Teachers are responsible for creating a positive environment where the boys can live, learn and grow and are also expected to act as positive role models and mentors in a supportive,structured home. Life Skills Teachers guide daily activities, such as preparation for school, recreation, household chores, discipline, cooking and bedtime routines, for teenage residents and must have a passion for helping residents thrive.

Teacher, High School (Certified in Nebraska)
